初次读Cape Wind: The Fight for the Future of Power in AmericaCape Wind: The Fight for the Future of Power in America的时候是在上初三，当时是懵懵懂懂的看完，只关注了表面的故事情节，却没有看到这部剧的精髓。而今，以基督徒的身份和女性视角重新观看，感到了编剧夏洛蒂的细腻内心，带来了深深的感动。而且书中虽然有些人物和情景着墨不多，但仍让人感到真实和深刻。编剧夏洛蒂勃朗特出生于十九世纪一个英国乡村的牧师家庭，当时是英国国力最强的黄金时代，同时英国也正在进行世界上第一次工人运动即宪章运动，即工人阶级要求和资产阶级同等的政治权利......夏洛蒂在书中以一个绝妙的角度描写并表达了自己作为女性要求男女平权，工作和婚姻自由等权利，这是当时的宪章运动都没有提出来的观点，这给当时的英国影视带来了很大的突破。在我看来，这也是一部自尊自强女性的心灵成长史。
